“Under Salt Marsh”
Coming soon to Sky and NOW TV (January 30), it’s a crime drama with a remarkable cast. Yellowstone’s Kelly Reilly leads alongside Rafe Spall, Industry’s Harry Rorty and Sir Jonathan Pryce. Skye says of Under Salt Marsh: Produced, written and directed by Claire Oakley (The Makeup), this 6 The part-part series begins with a once-in-a-generation storm rolling in from the ocean. Jackie Ellis (Reilly), a former detective turned teacher, makes a shocking discovery that reopens the unsolved case from three years ago that destroyed her career and the trust of her family. Forced to reunite with her father, Jackie is drawn back into an investigation that shakes Morfa Halen to its core. They must confront a community haunted by secrets and torn by grief before the oncoming storm washes away the evidence forever.

“Scarpetta”
Fans of Patricia Cornwell will be excited to learn that her famous medical examiner, Dr. Kay Scarpetta, will finally be appearing on screen. The character is played by none other than Nicole Kidman. The show, which also stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Bobby Cannavale and Ariana DeBose, will air on Prime in March and is sure to garner a lot of attention. The streamer says: “With a skilled hand and a sinister eye, this indomitable medical examiner becomes the victim’s advocate, determined to unmask a serial killer and prove that the case that made her career 28 years ago wasn’t her undoing. Set against the backdrop of modern forensic investigation, the series explores the psychological complexities of perpetrators and investigators beyond the crime scene, creating a layered thriller that examines the cost of pursuing justice at all costs. ”

“Gone”
We just got a trailer for this crime thriller starring Kaley Cuoco and Sam Claflin, and it’s right up the winding street. Amazon says of the synopsis: “When a couple’s trip to Paris takes a turn for the worse when her boyfriend Tom (Cloughlin) suddenly disappears on a train bound for the south of France, Alice (Cuoco) becomes entangled in a web of intrigue and danger, and uncovers shocking secrets about the man she thought she knew.” All of this will happen at once, so take a weekend and eat it.
Distribution starts on Amazon Prime from February 27th.

“Joe Nesbo’s Detective Hole”
Scandinavian crime buffs have been anticipating this for a while, but just before Christmas we got our first look at Netflix’s hit detective drama TV series, Joe Nesbo’s Detective Hall. There will be nine episodes starting March 26th, promising a “serial killer mystery.” Netflix describes the film as “a story of obsession, betrayal, and the blurred line between justice and revenge.” Audiences will be drawn into a cat-and-mouse game of the highest stakes as Harry Hole faces off against his archenemy Tom Wahler. ” Tobias Santelmann plays the role of the detective.

“Imperfect women”
The first look photos released at the end of December are enough to get you excited about this Apple TV thriller starring Elisabeth Moss, Kerry Washington, and Kate Mara. Apple says, “Based on the novel of the same name by Araminta Hall, Imperfect Women depicts a crime that shatters the lives of three women who have been friends for decades. This unconventional thriller explores guilt and retribution, love and betrayal, and the compromises that irrevocably change our lives. As the investigation unravels, it also reveals the truth that even the closest friendships may not be what they seem.”
Streaming on Apple TV – The first two episodes will air on Wednesday, March 18th, followed by new episodes every Wednesday until April 29th.

“I’ll find you”
Netflix and Harlan Coben’s love affair continues later this year. Already watching all the adaptations currently streaming, including the latest? “Run Away” now available for streaming), get ready for “I Will Find You.” The series, based on the novel of the same name, stars Sam Worthington, Severance’s Britt Lower and Milo Ventimiglia, based in the US. According to Netflix’s Tudum, the crime drama “follows Worthington as David Burrows, who is wrongly serving a life sentence for the murder of his son.” But when he receives news that his son may actually be alive, David must break out of prison and embark on a truth-finding mission that leads him into a world of deception and despair. ”

“The Cage”
This BBC drama starring Sheridan Smith and Michael Sorcha has such a great premise that you’ll be ready and waiting for a release date. The BBC said, “When Leanne (Smith) and Matty (Sorcha) find themselves robbing the safe of the casino where they work, their lives collide – with each other, with the local gang they’re stealing from, and with the police.”

“Line of Duty” Series 7
Late last year, the internet went into meltdown when the BBC confirmed the news that no one expected (since the last “final episode”): that there would be a seventh series of Line of Duty. The BBC says: “Series 7 begins with AC-12 being disbanded and rebranded as the Police Standards and Examination Agency.” They say the task has “never been more difficult, and in this difficult climate. [the trio] You have been assigned the most sensitive case ever. ” Filming will begin this spring and preparations are underway for release at the end of the year.

‘Trust me’
ITV’s Believe Me tackles the horrifying case of John Worboys, one of the most prolific sexual assaulters in British history, and focuses in particular on three of his victims. According to ITV, the drama, starring Daniel Mays, will focus on “the ordeal of two of the women who accused Worboy of sexual assault and how the Metropolitan Police left them feeling unbelieved by not thoroughly investigating their claims.” Believe Me will explain how this allowed the Worboys to carry out their assaults for years without detection. After his trial, it was discovered that he was linked to further alleged sexual crimes against over 100 women. ”

Meghan Fahey and Rose Byrne play sisters in the film, which is based on Karyn Slaughter’s novel of the same name and will air on Sky and NOW TV later this year. Gone promises to be a crime mystery that also involves a “deeper exploration of trauma, trust, and the legacy of elite organizations.” The plot certainly sounds appealing. ITV said: “Set against the backdrop of a prestigious private school, eerie woods and the quiet expanses of Bristol, ‘Gone’ is a chilling mystery that focuses on local headmaster Michael Polley, played by David Morrissey, who becomes the prime suspect in the disappearance of his wife Sarah. Kel Polly is an enigmatic figure, with a penchant for order and precision in his work, until he meets Annie Cassidy, a highly intelligent and courageous detective played by Eve Miles, and a compulsive cat-and-mouse game begins as she scrapes under his skin in search of the truth.
