Mark Ruffalo has addressed online claims that he has been fired from Disney and will not return as the Hulk in the next MCU movie, Avengers: Doomsday.The actor, who has caused a stir online by vocally expressing his criticism and protest against President Donald Trump’s policies and ICE investigations, has reportedly been fired from future film projects. However, the actor, who is currently promoting his new film Crime 101 with Marvel co-stars Chris Hemsworth and Halle Berry, denied the claims in an interview with News Movement.

When asked about the reports, Ruffalo replied, “There’s nothing that I know of. People keep going, like, you got fired. I’m not like that. There’s nothing that I know of.”He went on to say that he continues to have good relationships with studios that support superhero movies. He said: “As long as they are there, I will be there. But I have a good relationship with them. And who knows, maybe I’m already doing that…I’m close, let me just say that. ”

Marvel has yet to reveal any updates regarding the upcoming Marvel movie, The Avengers: Secret Wars, but Mark coincidentally confirmed the return of a fan-favorite cast member. During another appearance with BuzzFeed UK, Ruffalo hinted that Chris Hemsworth would reprise his role as Thor in Avengers: Secret Wars. During the game, the actors revealed how many “Avengers” movies they are participating in. “Six…well, there are,” Mark said, to which Chris replied, “Yeah, but we haven’t shot them.”

His appearance in “Avengers: Secret Wars” has not yet been decided.
