Mr. Govinda has been in the news lately with several speculations flying around him. A lot has been reported about him, from his gunshot wounds to his marital life and financial situation. Now, his long-time manager Shashi Sinha has categorically denied the recent rumors regarding the actor’s financial status and marital life as completely baseless. He said that despite not being a hit at the box office in recent years, Govinda has received film offers from several big names in the industry and is planning to announce a big project soon.Speculation that Govinda is on the verge of bankruptcy has been circulating on social media for several months and intensified after he was seen heading to the airport in a taxi. Shashi clarified to Chatter that the move has nothing to do with financial matters. “Mr. Govinda owns not just one car but many cars. There is no basis for saying that he is bankrupt and begging,” he said, adding that private cars were not allowed inside the airport premises at the time.

The manager also reacted strongly to claims that Govinda was performing at schools and private events due to financial hardship. “This is his profession! That doesn’t mean he’s bankrupt,” he told ANI. He added: “If he doesn’t take care of his family, who will? He still takes care of his wife and kids.”Shashi reiterated that Govinda will continue to be in demand not only for events and dance performances but also for films. “I’ve seen him get told no to hundreds of millions of dollars of work. It’s fine that he doesn’t like the script or anything, but he’s the first actor who still has big producers and actors chasing him despite not having a hit film. That doesn’t mean he’s going to stop working. We’re going to hear about something big soon,” he said.He also hinted at the possibility of announcing it under Govinda Film International, Govinda’s home base. Shashi talks about the only time when Govinda was in financial crisis and reveals that it was not due to mismanagement but from Govinda’s generosity.“There was a time when he withdrew his FD and added more funds to that amount, thereby helping others. But it got to the point where he had to mortgage his house. Just recently, he was attending events and dancing everywhere to pay off that loan. We have never spoken about it and he has never asked anyone for money.” Who came to help him then? Dismissing these claims, he said, “Govinda has not been married two or three times. It is because of Gharel Hawa that there are these rumors. But you should ask Govinda or Sunita. There is no truth in that.”
