On the night of the incident, the sisters took their mother’s cell phone, but they were unable to access the Korean app she was using. DCP (Trans-Hindon) Nimish Patil told PTI on Saturday that the fingerprints, including those found on the handwritten suicide note and the message recovered from the scene, have been sent to the forensic laboratory and the report is awaited. According to news agency PTI, police also confirmed that Kumar currently has three wives – Sujata, Heena and Tina, all of whom are his biological sisters. Sujata is Nishika’s mother and Heena is Prachi and Pakhi’s mother. Investigators said the three girls appeared to be more attached to their father than their mother, and that this was reflected in the suicide note they wrote to their father, but did not mention their mother.Patil said the cyber crime team is trying to trace the purchaser who purchased the phone using the IMEI number so that they can retrieve data related to the South Korean application, adding that the case is being investigated from multiple angles.

tragic past

Police are also investigating the family’s past. In 2015, father Chetan Kumar’s live-in partner died under suspicious circumstances after falling from the roof of an apartment in Rajendra Nagar Colony in Sahibabad police station area. Later, the police treated the death as a suicide and dismissed the case, Patil told PTI. Preliminary findings, including a nine-page pocket diary recovered from the sisters’ room, suggest a strong attachment to Korean culture and possible family discord, police said. Officials said one mobile phone was purchased for Nishika around three months ago and the other for Prachi around 15 days before the incident. The sisters were cremated at Nigam Buddha Ghat in Delhi on Wednesday night.
