Brock Purdy I recently channeled my inner Danny Tanner in an epic way.
A new commercial for sports hydration drink Recover features the 49ers’ star quarterback and pays homage to the iconic San Francisco-based television series Full House.
The commercial begins, mimicking the intro to the opening credits of “Full House,” with Purdy in a red convertible and spectacular shots of the city, including the Golden Gate Bridge and Purdy jumping off a cable car.
Instead of “Full House” in the commercial, of course the video shows “House on the Block.”
The commercial aired as Purdy and the 49ers prepare to face the Seattle Seahawks in the divisional round of the NFC playoffs.
If San Francisco defeats its longtime rival, Purdy and the Red & Gold will advance to the NFC Championship Game and move one win away from Super Bowl V, which will be played this year at Levi’s Stadium, also known as the “Blox House.”
