2025 MaxPreps Junior All-American Team

Since 2006, MaxPreps has recognized the nation’s top high school football players each year at the end of the season. Past MaxPreps Junior All-America team selections include Reuben Bain (2021), Will Campbell (2020), Trevor Lawrence (2016), Jeremiah Smith (2022) and Caleb Williams (2019).

Georges became the fourth non-senior player to be named MaxPreps National Player of the Year on Tuesday. He led the Red Raiders to their first undefeated season since 1973.

Williams-Callis was named MaxPreps’ Texas Player of the Year after rushing for 3,491 yards and 59 touchdowns. The five-star junior running back has amassed 7,543 yards and 125 touchdowns while leading the Lions to a 42-3 record over the past three years.

Haven threw for 3,931 yards and a state-record 62 touchdowns, winning the MaxPreps Louisiana Player of the Year Award. He recorded more than 4,000 yards of total offense and 58 touchdowns and was named the 2024 MaxPreps National Sophomore of the Year.

first team attack

He led the Tigers to their first state title in 21 years with 4,725 yards of total offense and a state record 73 touchdowns.

The linebacker bounced around defensively from sideline to sideline, recording 181 tackles, 48 ​​lost tackles, 5.5 sacks and four interceptions, leading to a Class 8A state runner-up finish.

As a Class AAAAAA semifinalist, he finished the year with 141 tackles, 18 tackles for loss, and eight sacks.

The two-way standout had more than 200 tackles, 23 lost tackles and four sacks, and his offense totaled 979 yards rushing and 11 touchdowns.

The ball-hawking safety had 125 tackles and 10 interceptions for the No. 8 team in the MaxPreps Top 25. He returned five interceptions for a score.

The dual-threat quarterback had 4,778 yards of total offense (3,836 passing, 942 rushing) and 54 touchdowns.

QB — Gunner Reverse, St. Michael Catholic (Fairhope, Alabama)

height: 6-3 | Weight: 205

As a Class 4A semifinalist, he threw for 3,176 yards and 46 touchdowns.

He totaled 4,273 yards and 48 touchdowns with just one interception.

He rushed for 1,755 yards and 28 touchdowns and had three additional return scores on special teams.

He finished with 217 carries for 2,452 yards and 39 touchdowns as a Class 2A state champion.

He finished with 80 tackles, 26 tackles for loss and 14.5 sacks to become an undefeated Class 4A state champion.

He played a key role on one of the best defensive lines in the country, recording 50 tackles, 22 lost tackles and 12 sacks.

He finished his junior season as an undefeated Class AAAA state champion with 79 tackles, 24.5 tackles for loss and 20.5 sacks.

After missing most of his sophomore season with an injury, he bounced back in a big way and led the Gaels with 117 tackles.

He didn’t allow a receiving touchdown and had a huge impact on the defense of a three-time Class 6A state champion team.

DB — O’Malley Sanders, Franklin Road Academy (Nashville, Tennessee)

height: 6-4 | Weight: 205

He shined on both sides of the ball in the Division II Class AA state runner-up. On offense, he had 73 tackles, two interceptions, and 58 receptions for 1,064 yards and 12 touchdowns.

DB — Zyden GambleSt. Thomas Aquinas

height: 6-1 | Weight: 180

The leader of one of the most talented secondaries recorded 65 tackles and three interceptions.

DB — Ace Alston, Anderson (Cincinnati, Ohio)

height: 5-11 | Weight: 175

The lockdown corner finished as Division II state runner-up with 53 tackles, two interceptions and 17 pass breakups.

AP — Xavier Sabu, Glassboro (New Jersey)

height: 6-1 | Weight: 185

He led the Bulldogs to their second consecutive undefeated season, totaling nearly 1,000 yards, 15 touchdowns, 15 defensive tackles, and four interceptions.

He averaged 48.6 yards per punt and turned the field over as well as any punter in the country. He also made 10 of 14 field goals.
