Jiro Hachimitsu (51) of the comedy duo “Tokyo Dynamite” appeared on TV Asahi’s “Ariyoshi Quiz” (Sundays at 0:40 am) late at night on the 15th.

Jiro was hospitalized in 2018 with acute heart failure and respiratory failure. In 2021, he became seriously ill due to the new coronavirus infection and was temporarily in critical condition. In March 2024, it was announced that he had been hospitalized due to “feeling unwell due to a failed kidney transplant that has continued since last year.” Later, due to the progression of his symptoms, his left leg below the knee was amputated and he now lives on his legs.
