Huion, which sells pen tablets and other products, has released the 21.5-inch LCD pen tablet “Kamvas 22 (Gen 3).” The price is 94,800 yen.
Kamvas 22 (Gen 3) is a pen tablet equipped with a large WQHD (2,560 x 1,440 dots) translucent IPS liquid crystal display. The refresh rate is 90Hz, which provides a smarter display and line drawing response compared to previous models.
A digital pen “PW600L” that uses the latest technology “PenTech 4.0” is included. It supports 16,384 levels of pen pressure detection and an initial activation pressure of 2g, and is said to provide a natural writing feel just like a real pen, from light touches to powerful strokes.
The display surface is treated with “Canvas Glass 2.0,” a nano-etching process that concentrates light reflection. The fully laminated structure eliminates air spaces to reduce parallax. It also covers a wide color gamut such as sRGB 99% and Adobe RGB 90%, and has high color accuracy of less than Delta E 1.2 due to factory color calibration.
Other main specifications of the display include 16.7 million display colors, color gamut of 99% sRGB coverage, 99% Rec.709 coverage, 90% Adobe RGB coverage, 94% Display-P3 coverage, brightness of 250 cd/m2, contrast ratio of 1,000:1, and viewing angles of 178 degrees vertically and horizontally.
The back features ambient lighting that can be used to customize your environment, and a cable collection slot to neatly store cables.
Equipped with HDMI and USB Type-C interfaces.
The size is 527.7 x 324.7 x 16 to 36.7 mm, and the weight is 3.6 kg including the stand.
