Police allege that the 33-year-old woman operated a creche in Denham Court without the necessary legal registration or licences, left children there and failed to pay rent for the premises.

According to police, the nursery school operated from November 2023 to April 2024.

Detectives also charged the woman with forging documents relating to property matters and fraudulent transactions with government agencies including the Australian Taxation Office and Australian Services Administration.

A 33-year-old woman was arrested at Parramatta Police Station at around 9am yesterday.

She was charged with multiple fraud-related offences, and was refused bail to appear in Parramatta Local Court today.

Police will allege in court that the woman committed fraud worth $400,000.
