Over the course of the episode, Paul Nolan and Cillian Murphy explore their surrounding cultural background. blue lineIncludes 1991’s impressive musical output, Massive Attack’s influence on the music world, and its groundbreaking sound.

The pair also explore the band’s origins, their characteristics as a live act, and the 1997 live collaboration between Massive Attack and Radiohead at the RDS in Dublin.

In addition, Nolan and Murphy discuss their work with Cocteau Twins vocalist Elizabeth Fraser, the band’s long-standing radical political involvement, particularly on ecology and Palestine, and their lack of studio work over the past 16 years.
