Preview: Swansea City (A) – Bristol City FC

Bristol City will travel to South Wales to take on Swansea City on Saturday 21 February (12:30pm).

The Robins are unbeaten in their last two games since Max Bird’s 89th-minute volley earned them a point at home to Wrexham in midweek, while the Swans come into the game on the back of a 2-0 defeat away to Derby County.

City, who won 3-0 at Ashton Gate earlier this season with goals from Rob Dickie, Emil Rees and Yu Hirakawa, will aim to earn a league double against Swansea, while Swansea will aim to continue their excellent home form, which has seen them win six of their last seven home league games.

Manager Gerhard Struber wants to use Ross McCrorie, who missed Tuesday night’s draw with Wrexham with a concussion, but Adam Randell is doubtful after being sent off midway through the second half against the Red Dragons.

Tickets and coach travel are sold out for the approximately 2,500 Reds away fans heading to Swansea.com Stadium, and overseas supporters will be able to watch every game live on Robins TV.

Match passes can be purchased for just £10, with Leroy Rosenior and Lewis Carey joining us in the studio and pre-match preparations starting from 12pm.

Our opponent: Swansea City

Swansea City had a slow start to the season and were languishing in 18th place, with head coach Alan Sheehan leaving the club and being replaced 13 days later by Portuguese head coach Vitor Matos.

Despite only moving up to 16th place, Swans faithful have been impressed with their recent home form as no Championship side has picked up more home points since December.

In January, they acquired Joel Ward, who left Crystal Palace in the summer of 2025, on a free transfer, and loaned Gustavo Nunez and Leo Walta from Brentford and Sweden’s Sirius respectively.
