Dillon Danis knows how to take chances, and he may have just gotten one from Mikey Moussi.
Mikey Musumeci is currently one of the best pound-for-pound grapplers in the world, holding the UFC BJJ Bantamweight title and five IBJJF World Championship titles. Earlier this month, Moussi defended his title at UFC BJJ 5 with a footlock submission from Shea Montague. On Thursday, Moussi posted a clip of his submission on social media, prompting Danis to call him names in the comments section.
“I screwed up the guy who dropped off my Uber Eats by doing that.”
The champion quickly responded and called the match even though Danis had recently competed at 178 pounds.
“Hey Dillon, how about a grappling match? You keep talking shit in my posts, but let’s grapple each other. Maybe you’re bigger than me, but my balls are bigger than yours. If you’re feeling down, let me know.”
Once considered one of the best grapplers in the world, Danis rose to fame as Conor McGregor’s training partner and teammate at the height of his MMA career. Danis parlayed that into his fighting career, but much of his fame and notoriety came from his shenanigans and antagonisms with other martial artists outside the cage. This kind of action has led to some lucrative boxing opportunities for Danis, but the only time he made it was in the fight of the night against Logan Paul, and now he may be doing the same again with Moussi.

But Danis may need to act quickly. Earlier this week, Musumeshi announced: He will likely be paired with UFC lightweight contender Arman Tsarukyan at some point in the future.
