Country star Keith Urban is facing another breakup, only this time it’s a problem.
The “Blue Ain’t Your Color” singer has parted ways with her management team, including her longtime manager Gary Bowman. Bowman announced his retirement exclusively to Page Six, revealing that he is closing down his company after 50 years.
Bowman’s retirement marks the end of a 25-year working relationship between the two. “I’m so grateful to Gary (and the entire Bowman family in Nashville) for the most amazing and wonderful time we had together,” Urban told Page Six in a statement.
“What we were able to achieve together was extraordinary, and I will forever be grateful for the creative and collaborative spirit that we have all been a part of for so long,” he added. “We wish Gary and everyone at Bowman Entertainment all the best in life and look forward to what the future holds for all of us.”
Mr. Bowman, who has also managed stars such as James Taylor, Faith Hill and the Bee Gees, said he and Mr. Urban “shared the same journey as brothers.”
“The place in my heart will always be warm and my heart filled with wonderful memories. I have always been and will always be a fan,” he said.
Urban’s dilemma has been a hot topic in Nashville, with one source saying, “The management team, they’re all gone.” They added that this seems sudden considering Urban is currently touring his latest album, High and Alive.
Urban’s professional separation comes just over a month after his divorce from ex-wife Nicole Kidman was finalized and amid rumors of a relationship with country singer Carly Scott Collins.
Collins, who opened for Urban’s tour in May 2025, addressed the topic of romance last month after reports surfaced that the two were living together. She posted a screenshot of an article with the headline, “Keith Urban living with Karlie Scott Collins? New speculation amid divorce?”
“Guys, this is completely ridiculous and untrue,” she wrote, along with a crying-laughing emoji.
Urban was also previously rumored to be dating guitarist Maggie Boe, but a friend of Boe’s denied the rumors, telling Taste of Country:
Meanwhile, billionaire businessman and MGM Resorts International board chairman Paul Salem is reportedly “pursuing” Kidman, although sources say she is still single.
According to court documents filed in January, the former couple had agreed to waive all rights to child and spousal support. Daughters Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 15, will spend 306 days a year at Kidman’s home. Urban will spend “every other weekend” with them.
