You may soon be able to instantly share your location in Google Messages

If you’ve never used live location sharing before, this is actually quite useful. Sharing this information and letting it run in the background allows someone to track your whereabouts. This is a versatile feature that can be used for a variety of purposes.

If you want to share your location with someone to meet up, turn on the Live Location feature. It also serves as a tool for someone to monitor your whereabouts in case you are in an area that feels unsafe.

This is a feature that currently exists, but Find Hub on Androidwhich apparently could be coming to Google Messages in the near future. 9to5Google A closer look at the code of Messages’ latest beta reveals that Google is working on integrating live location tracking into the app.

It’s important to integrate as many useful features as possible to keep things concise. And in this case it makes perfect sense. What better way to send a message to friends, colleagues, or family than to see their location on a map in real time?

In most cases, this version integrated into Messages seems to work pretty much the same as the one in Messages. Find Hub on Android. The Find Hub feature displays your avatar on a map and allows you to share your location. People can also share their location with you at the same time, making it easy to determine where they are at any given moment.

Also, unlike a static location, this location is constantly updated, so you can see where people are over a period of time. As you can imagine, this makes meeting up in crowded cities and locations much easier. You can leave the feature on indefinitely. You can also set a period of time after which the feature will automatically turn off.

Of course, you can stop sharing your location at any time, giving you some peace of mind. Again, this is a feature available in Find a hub That’s the case for now, but this new discovery indicates that Google may make it part of its messages in the future. Strong competitors like WhatsApp also have this feature available, so it was only a matter of time before Google brought it to Messages.
