With eight months left until the iPhone 18 lineup is announced, a reputable leaker today revealed detailed screen sizes and Dynamic Island plans for Apple’s next model.

These display sizes match those available on the iPhone 17 series. Therefore, it appears that Apple has no plans to change the screen size in this year’s iPhone 18 models.

LTPO 120Hz also matches what’s currently in the entire iPhone 17 product line.

Where things get even more interesting is Dynamic Island.

According to Digital Chat Station, both the iPhone 18 and iPhone Air 2 will come with a standard Dynamic Island. It will probably not be any different from the current model.

However, the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max mention a new type of cutout area under the display.

There are various rumors about what this will look like. According to some reports, the new Dynamic Islands will look similar to the current pill shape, only being smaller in size. Others said they would get a simple hole punch offset to the top left corner of the display.

The lack of use of the term “dynamic island” in today’s post may suggest that the latter is more likely.

It’s also worth noting that this new cutout design will only be featured on the 18 Pro model. The base iPhone 18 and iPhone Air 2 are not eligible.
