Team News: Charlton Athletic vs Derby County – Blog

Derby County’s Sky Bet Championship line-up against Charlton Athletic has been confirmed.

Head coach John Eustace made three changes to the side. They secured maximum points against Preston North End at the weekend.

The Rams’ game against the Addicks was the second of a busy three-game week in south London, with Sondre Langas wearing the captain’s armband and Lewis Travis resting on the bench after just returning from injury.

Liam Thompson, who came on as a second-half substitute in Saturday’s game against Deepdale, returns to the center of the park, while David Ozo and Bobby Clarke also start for The Valley.

Craig Forsyth returns to the backline, with Matt Clarke, Joe Ward and Langus also on the team sheet.

Former Charlton winger Corey Blackett-Taylor will also start in the place he called home for two-and-a-half seasons before joining the Rams in January 2023.
