According to the Ho Chi Minh City Disease Control Center (HCDC), 5,228 dengue cases have been reported, including 1,430 cases of dengue fever in the city in the past week.

Binh Hung Hoa, Thai Nam and An Nhon Thai are the districts and municipalities reporting incidence rates of more than 100 cases per 100,000 population.

In 2025, Vietnam recorded a total of 184,903 dengue infections and 43 deaths, an increase of 28.4% compared to the same period in 2024, with 14 more deaths.

Vietnam is one of 11 countries listed as reporting higher-than-normal numbers of cases in the latest Global Dengue Travel Notice released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) this week.
