Uncrowned Teofimo Lopez vs. Shakur Stevenson Live results, round-by-round updates, highlights, ring walk, and start times Lopez vs Stevenson fight card Saturday night at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York. Teofimo Lopez will defend his WBO super lightweight title against Shakur Stevenson in the highly anticipated main event of the night.

Lopez (22-1, 13 KOs) successfully defended the WBO super lightweight title he won from Josh Taylor in June 2023. Lopez, a two-division world champion, previously held boxing’s unified lightweight title with a win over future Hall of Famer Vasily Lomachenko. Lopez last competed in May of this year. He defeated Arnold Barboza Jr. By decision at an event in New York’s Times Square.

Current WBC lightweight champion Stevenson (24-0, 11 KOs) will step up to super lightweight with the aim of becoming a four-division world champion. stevenson is Uncrowned world No. 8 pound-for-pound boxer. He recorded one of the best victories in his career. Beat William Zepeda in an interesting fight in New York this July.

The Lopez vs. Stevenson preliminaries begin at 6pm ET and can be watched here via Uncrowned.

The main card will begin at 8pm ET on DAZN pay-per-view, with the main event ring walk scheduled to take place at approximately 11pm ET.

    Williams was scheduled to challenge Carlos Adames for the WBC middleweight title tonight, but the bout was canceled the day after the fight when Adames was forced to withdraw due to illness.

    In the first of two qualifying matches between Teofimo Lopez and Shakur Stevenson, Kevin Castillo defeated Ziyad Almayuf by unanimous decision (78-73, 77-74, 77-74).

    Kevin Castillo appears to be on track for an upset.

    Almayuf was hit by a hard right hand from Castillo just two minutes into the sixth round. In the seventh round, Castillo continued where he left off in the sixth, hurting Almayuf with power shots across the frame. The crowd began cheering for Castillo in the final minutes of the match, as Almayuh was clearly injured.

    Castillo now fought three strong rounds.

    He hurt Almayuf with a right hand in the third round, but has maintained his forward momentum ever since. Castillo appeared to be hurting Almayuf’s body in the fifth round. Castillo’s attack caused Almayuf’s gloves to fall and his breathing became labored. Almayuf also has damage under his left eye.

    Ziyad Zizo Almayuf was knocked down in the first round, then wobbled by an overhand right from Kevin Castillo in the third. Castillo had his best round of the fight in the third round. Almayuh is no longer fighting behind the jab, allowing Castillo to break through the gap and land power shots.

    Ziyad “Zizo” Almayuh floored Kevin Castillo from the top with a right hand with 30 seconds left in the opener.

    Almayuh had enough success behind the jab in the first round to knock him down with his left hand, lowering his guard and creating an opening for his right hand to come up.

    The WBC middleweight title fight between Carlos Adames and Austin “Amo” Williams was called off on Friday after Adames was forced to withdraw from the bout due to illness the day after the fight.

    As a result, American veteran Wendy Toussaint (17-3, 7 KOs) stepped in as a replacement opponent, allowing Williams to remain in a 10-round super middleweight contest on tonight’s undercard card.
