Dancing with the Stars professional dancer Laura Nolan reveals details of her upcoming wedding guest list to Matthew McNab

Dublin where Laura met love island star Matthew while competing together on the fifth season of the RTÉ show in 2022.

Rumors were swirling that they were apart of the dance floor, but they confirmed it with a kiss on live TV when they were eliminated in the semi-finals.

Matthew proposed in 2024 while the couple were in the US, and the couple are planning to tie the knot at Kilcare Castle in Kildare later this year.

she told us: “I have a proper fiancé and he’s the one who really helped us put out invitations and stuff.”

“Also, we knew the show (DWTS) was coming up, so we kind of booked all the vendors, and once they’re all booked, we’ll start booking the rest bit by bit.

“So before the wedding we have time to take care of all the little details, including the invitations, all of which Matthew helped us with and helped us with. He’s the organized one between us,” she admits.

Laura joked that if she had left the wedding planning to Laura, the couple “probably wouldn’t have scheduled a date.”

“Actually, people who think of me in the dance industry, no, he’s definitely a ‘Type A’ personality, very organized when it comes to dance, choreography and this show.

“Then once you leave the show, you’ll be more calm. Matthew is more organized. So it’s good to have someone like that. [otherwise]probably no date yet.

Laura told EVOKE she was starting to get “excited” ahead of her big day, but admitted she recently had a dream about getting ready to slide down the aisle.

“I’m even more excited now. In fact, just a few nights ago, I had a dream where I arrived at a wedding in mostly slip-ons and my hair wasn’t even done, and my mom looked at me and said, ‘Laura, what are you doing? We’re going down the aisle in about five minutes.’

“I’m excited about this more than anything. We feel like everything is kind of sorted out now. We’re making detailed plans and now it’s time to really enjoy it,” she added.

Laura also revealed who has been invited to her big day, including her current dance partner on the show Paudie Moloney and last year’s winner Reece McClenaghan.

She also invited celebrity chef Kevin Dundon, but he said he couldn’t attend. Kevin plans to take Laura and Matthew out to dinner before the big day.
