Battery EV model of the 3-row Highlander SUV unveiled for the first time in the world

Toyota announced on February 11 (Japan time) that it is considering a lineup of vendor EVs (BEVs) in North America, and at the same time, in Ojai, U.S., TMNA ​​(Toyota Motor North America) unveiled a new vendor EV model configuration for its 3-row SUV Highlander for the first time in the world. Sales in North America are scheduled for the second half of 2026.

This is Toyota’s fourth firmware model in the North American market, following the bZ (North American name for bZ4X), TOYOTA C-HR (North American name for European C-HR+), and bZ Woodland (North American name for bZ4X Touring), and is produced at TMMK (Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky).

3-row SUV “Highlander”

The 76.96kWh lithium-ion battery model is available in FWD and AWD, while the 95.82kWh large capacity model is available only in the AWD model. Development is targeting a cruising range of over 320 miles (approximately 512 km) with a total power consumption of 95.82 kWh.
