This match could be very special for Club América, who are aiming for their 100th domestic Clasico victory, becoming the first of both teams to reach that milestone.
This was the 264th domestic Clásico (counting all competitions), with a record 99 wins for Club América, 83 draws and 81 wins for their rivals.
The greatest victory between the two teams was in 1944 when Las Águilas defeated Guadalajara 7-2, and arguably the most important match between the two teams was the 1983-1984 final, considered the “Final of the Century”, in which Club América was crowned champion.
What could add even more “flavor” to this 100th win is that Chivas are having their best moment in recent years, so a win of this magnitude would mean even more.
When and where can I watch the game?
The match will take place at 9:07pm Central Mexico Time and will be broadcast on Amazon Prime Video in Mexico. In the US, it will be broadcast on Telemundo and Fox Deportes.
