Several Northern Nevada schools canceled in-person classes on Tuesday, Feb. 17, due to winter storm warnings and hazardous travel conditions expected.
The following schools and districts are affected:
- All schools in Washoe County, including Incline Village.
- Carson City School District – All schools closed. No activities or services will take place.
- Storey County School District – All schools are closed due to expected heavy snow and hazardous road conditions.
- Bishop Manogue Catholic High School – Campus is closed for in-person learning. Students participate in virtual learning.
- Pinecrest Academy has closed
- Mater Academy has been closed
- Child Development Support Center Kids Life is closed.
- Pyramid Lake JR/SR High School is closed.
- UNR – Non-essential campus operations and in-person classes are suspended
- Coral Academy of Sciences has closed all five campuses.
- Sunflower Kindergarten is closed.
