Married At First Sight’s Gia Fleur is likely to make the most money on Instagram, a new study has revealed.
According to a study by national accountswe analyzed the social media influence of all season 13 cast members and found that the outspoken bride has the best chance of making money on the social media platform thanks to her 62,800 Instagram followers.
If this study is accurate, the reality TV star and mother-of-one is estimated to earn up to $827 per post after the show ends.
And with paid partnerships, affiliate campaigns and a long-term content career in mind, the 35-year-old could earn even more.
Other contestants expected to rake in prize money are Alyssa Faye, who is estimated to earn up to $495 per post, Scott McChrystal, who is estimated to earn up to $384 per post, and Luke Forniotis, who is estimated to earn up to $246 per post.
Contestants won’t have access to social media until after the show ends, but early numbers suggest brides and grooms could earn thousands of dollars a month if they play their cards right.
“Social media fame is incredibly valuable, but it only turns into income if you approach it strategically,” says a National Accounts spokesperson.
“People with a lot of followers can make thousands of dollars a month if they plan their monetization effectively.”
Fleur claimed to be one to watch when she debuted on the popular dating show earlier this month.
In the opening scene, Fleur was introduced to MAFS fans while making pasta while showing off her cleavage for the camera.
“I’m beautiful with big breasts,” she declared, before heading into hen night to stir the pot with the other brides.
She showed up late and immediately raised eyebrows by bragging about her time as a Playboy model, talking about her fellow brides and confronting fellow MAFS firecracker Bec Zacharias.
“I moved to L.A. in my early 20s. I was also in Playboy. I went to the Playboy mansion every weekend! Every Sunday I had buffet with Hef,” she recalled, prompting Zakaria to glare at the displeased bride.
At the death stare, Fleur retorted, “You’re a 5 out of 10, that’s really chilling.”
