Approximately 600 people are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in Ireland each year. While this number is relatively low, survival rates are also low, with only about 10% of patients surviving beyond 5 years from diagnosis.

Olivia Maher, a mother of two, knows all too well how aggressive pancreatic cancer can be because her beloved mother Goretti passed away from her battle with the disease last September.
