status report
Colangelo replaces forward Strome, who has been injured for the past six games. … Terry, who missed 10 games with an upper-body injury, rejoined the team in Vancouver as the final stop on a five-game road trip and was scheduled to play after practice Wednesday, but manager Joel Quenneville said the forward “came back with some soreness” and will not play against the Canucks. Quenneville said he expects Terry to play Sunday at home against the Las Vegas Golden Knights. … Hoglander skated Thursday after missing Wednesday’s practice, but the forward is not expected to play. He has been day-to-day since suffering the injury during the third period of Tuesday’s 5-2 loss to the San Jose Sharks. … Cain and Garland are on the top line in place of DeBrusk and Karlsson. …Tropillo started in place of Lankinen and played 5 minutes, 55 seconds into the game against San Jose, where he scored three points on six shots.
