Back in November of last year, there were reports that Apple would be upgrading the selfie camera across the entire iPhone 18 lineup. New rumors confirm the upgrade, but suggest the improved front camera may be limited to the Pro model.

According to tipster Whylab, the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max will feature a 24MP selfie camera, which is in line with a report from November that pointed to an upgrade to the 24MP front sensor.

If accurate, the new sensor should improve performance for selfies, video calls, and low-light selfies.

The iPhone 18 Pro lineup is also rumored to feature a much smaller dynamic island, with some Face ID components reportedly moving below the display.

Apple is expected to announce the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max along with the iPhone Fold in September of this year.
