The Memphis Grizzlies aren’t currently winless, but they have won back-to-back games for the first time since February, and an upset in Minneapolis could tie their streak for the longest winning streak of the season.
They’ll get some extra help as Santi Aldama, Ty Jerome and rookie Cedric Coward are all available as well.
Aldama was on a special run before the injury, while Jerome was productive during his playing days. Coward, an NBA All-Rookie First Team candidate, was injured just before All-Star Week.
All-Star Game MVP Anthony Edwards will also be in attendance, but is listed as questionable to play all day.

Grizzlies look to win season series against Wolves
The Memphis Grizzlies (23-36) will face the Minnesota Timberwolves (38-23) in a contest to see if the underdog can pull off an upset and win the series for the second straight year. Since Minnesota’s sweep in 2023-24, the Griz have won four of six games.
The Grizzlies tied within 58 wins and 55 losses in the Lifetime Series dating back to 1995-96.

Grizzlies manager Tuomas Isalo had this to say about Ryan Rupert’s rise. “I love his confidence. We are starting to understand more and more what he brings to the table. His defense allows for quick transitions into attack. He guarantees continuity in the game.”
