iOS 26.4 features added to Apple Music 5.2 beta for Android

Next, First iOS 26.4 previewApple Music 5.2 entered beta earlier this week, adding three new features.

Playlist Playground leverages generative AI to “create new playlists from just your ideas in seconds.”[ライブラリ]It can be accessed from the top right corner of the tab.

The top half of this new interface can only be used to create playlists without AI. The bottom sheet allows you to enter prompts where Apple Music offers “new playlist ideas” and “suggested songs.”

Next up is a redesign of albums and playlists. This “Full-page artwork brings your music to life” theme background extends to the track list and other suggestions below.

The play button is now centered and the shuffle function is no longer needed. This is represented by a circle on the left side and the downloads are on the opposite side. There is a share menu in the corner position. These button changes are a nice upgrade for one-handed use.

Finally, you may see an “Upcoming Concerts” badge at the top of your artist page. Scroll down to “All Upcoming Concerts” under the top video carousel.

Apple Music 5.2 is currently in beta — join us here or via Google Play Store listing information — Stable release will occur at the same time as iOS 26.4.
