Over the past few years, our team has been working to create a new kind of experience set in the Arknights universe. It blends real-time squad combat, exploration, and a massive industrial system into a single interconnected adventure, where every decision you make helps shape humanity’s next frontier.

Welcome to Talos-II

Talos-II is a world of stunning beauty and constant danger. More than 150 years ago, pioneers endured war and catastrophe to carve out the first “civilized areas.” But beyond that border lies an unexplored, unexplored wilderness, filled with threats from the past and new dangers that will emerge.

In Endfield, you take on the role of an Endoministrator, tasked with leading operators who protect, expand, and redefine the boundaries of civilization. Exploration and exploitation go hand in hand here. Automated production lines and industrial facilities rise with an expanding foothold on Earth as oripathic engines burst to life across the wastelands.

Strategic action combat with real-time decision making

Essentially, Arknights: Endfield is an anime-style action RPG built around highly strategic real-time combat. Up to four operators fight simultaneously in battle, and players can freely switch control between them at any time.

Combat flows through a layered action system. If you connect basic attacks and transition to a strike, you will recover SP and deal stagger damage. When an enemy’s stagger bar is maxed out, they become staggered, vulnerable, and take increased damage. It’s your gateway to trigger powerful executions, deal massive damage, and recover additional SP.

SP enhances the skills of each operator, giving them unique effects and tactical roles. Charge up ultimate abilities for match-changing moments, and under the right conditions Operators can chain abilities together to trigger combo skills that reward careful positioning and timing. The result is combat that’s fast, expressive, and tactically deep, designed to reward thoughtful play rather than simple reflexes.

Combat is just part of the journey. One of Endfield’s signature features is its Automated Industry Complex (AIC) system, which connects directly to nearly every aspect of gameplay.

Design and manage automated production lines that produce equipment, medical supplies, and other critical resources using a wide range of equipment. These systems not only support character development, but also influence how you explore areas, manage resources, and approach combat challenges.

To make the experience more accessible, Endfield introduced the Blueprint system. Once unlocked, Blueprints allow you to instantly build, copy, move, or demolish entire production lines in a single action. You can also save your layouts and share them with other players.

As industrial zones expand, efficiency increases and trade routes emerge with different regions specializing in different products, so where and how you build becomes as important as what you produce.

Looking beyond launch, the Talos-II story is just beginning. The events in Valley IV are a warning that something is starting to move along the edge of the civilized ring. Before the full extent of the corrosion becomes clear, you will be drawn to the blue wave fence on the outskirts of Wuling. At the same time, he suddenly loses contact with Supreme Director Tintin, whom he had previously met and become friends with, and reports of Bonecrusher appearing nearby occur at the same time.

This convergence is no coincidence. As they venture into the Blue Wave Barrier to uncover the truth, it becomes clear that the danger lurks deeper than expected, and that Wuling itself may not be immune to the coming plague. The journey begins from here. New regions will emerge, new allies will join you, and your choices will shape what comes next. Tintin plays an important role in this chapter as it unfolds. On PS5, Arknights: Endfield fully supports the DualSense controller, including haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, built-in speakers, and light bar effects. The game also features 3D audio support to help bring Talos-II’s environments to life, and main story activity integration to help you quickly return to key moments.
