ATP Montpellier best bets including Humbert vs Van de Zandsschulp

ATP 250 Montpellier 1/16 – Final

Basilashvili – Nardi: February 4, 2026 Time TBA
H2H: First meeting

Nikoloz Basilashvili has lost four of his last five matches. In the 1/8 final held in Quimper last week, Basilashvili lost to Forel in straight sets. Last season in Montpellier, Basilashvili reached the quarter-finals, but withdrew midway through the match against Rublev.

Luca Nardi has won four of his last five matches. Last week in Manama, Nardi reached the Challenger final, but lost to Jaquet in a close three-set match. He has never made it past the opening round here. The Italian is hoping for solid results this week to break into the top 100 of the rankings.

best bet

According to the bookmakers, this will be a 50-50 matchup, but we don’t think so. Nardi is doing better than Basiashvili. He had a solid run in similar conditions in Manama last week. Meanwhile, Basilashvili has suffered some tough losses against lower-ranked players in recent weeks.

Having said that, Nardi’s victory is a worthwhile gamble.

Value bet/best odds: Luca Nardi to win @1.91 @bet365

Humbert – Van de Zantsschulp: 03.02.2026 16:00 CEST
H2H: 5-0

Hugo Humbert has won three of his last five matches. The last match he played was at the Australian Open, where he lost in the opening round to Shelton in straight sets. He will be seeded fifth this week in Montpellier.

Botic van de Zantsschulp has won three of his last five matches. The last match he played was at the Australian Open, where he lost in straight sets to Djokovic in the third round. Last season in Montpellier, the Dutchman lost in the opening game to Griekspur in straight sets. He has never made it past the opening round here.

best bet

According to the bookmakers, Humbert is the favorite to win this matchup, and we agree. He is one of the best players on indoor hard courts. The Frenchman has a 5-0 lead in head-to-head matches with Van de Zandsschulp and we hope he can extend that winning streak.

Having said that, It’s a worthwhile bet that Humbert will cover the match handicap.

Value bet/best odds: Hugo Humbert -3.5 Game Handicap @1.83 @bet365

Kecmanovic – Carreno-Busta: 03.02.2026 12:30 CEST
H2H: 2-0

Miomir Kecmanovic has lost his fourth straight match. So far this season, Kecmanovic has not won a competitive match. The last match he played was at the Australian Open, where he lost in the opening round to Etcheverry in a close five-set match.

Pablo Carreno-Busta has lost three of his last five matches. The last match he played was at the Australian Open, where he lost in the opening round to Mensik in a close five-set match. He has never made it past the opening round here. Carreño-Busta lost to Kovacevic in a qualifying tournament last season.

best bet

According to the bookmakers, this will be an almost 50-50 matchup, but we don’t think so. Kecmanovic is a better indoor hard court player than Carreno-Busta. The Spaniard needs more time to prepare his groundstrokes. Kecmanovic has a 2-0 lead in head-to-head matches and is expected to score his third win against the Spaniard.

Having said that, A Kecmanovic win is a worthwhile gamble.
