James Duckworth (finally) did it!

The wise veteran bounced back from the brink and defeated Dino Prismic in a five-set battle that lasted well over four hours, winning 7-6(4), 3-6, 1-6, 7-5, 6-3.

Duckworth fell to the grass, pumped his fist and shouted to the crowd.

What a win for the Australian, who advances to the second round at his home Grand Slam.
