Following its successful reintroduction at last year’s Annual Meeting, the AERA Awards Luncheon will return in 2026. This special event will highlight the year’s award winners and provide attendees with an opportunity to connect with their colleagues while reflecting on their commitment to excellence in the field.

The luncheon will be held on Thursday, April 9th ​​from 11:45 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. Pacific Time. AERA encourages Annual Meeting attendees to add the luncheon to their registration and participate in recognizing outstanding contributions to the field.

“We are excited to come together to celebrate the 2026 honorees and honor the important work being done in our communities,” said AERA Executive Director Tabby Chaves. “The luncheon is a great opportunity for participants to recognize the accomplishments of their colleagues and be inspired.”

Lunch costs $35 for students and $65 for non-students. Attendees can select the luncheon when registering for the annual meeting or renew their existing registration. Tickets are on a first-come, first-served basis, so early application is recommended.
