Bridgerton Season 4, Part 1 Premiere Clip: Watch the opening scene of Episode 1 early

At Bridgerton House, preparations for the return of our guests are in full swing. There’s a lot to do, like baking scones, arranging petit fours, and wiping boot prints. While the family happily reunites, one member of the Bridgerton family is noticeably absent. Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson) is the main character of season 4. He misses season 3’s newlyweds Penelope (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin (Luke Newton) doting on the lord’s baby, and the return of Francesca (Hannah Dodd), Eloise (Claudia Jessie) and Lord John Stirling (Victor Alli) from far away Scotland. Hyacinth (Florence Hunt) also lowered her hemline! Violet, who always cherishes time with her family, is disappointed that her second child will not be attending the festivities.

With the help of footman John (Oli Higginson), Violet rushes to Benedict’s private apartment. She demands to see her son…but footman John and Benedict’s servant Hutch (Esh Alladi) advise otherwise. In fact, Footman John says he would be happy to pick up Benedict, who is out of school, so his mother doesn’t have to see what’s hidden in the bedroom. So what has Benedict been up to these past few months? Why doesn’t he appear at social events? What is hidden inside his room? And is it something more than just a “sleep of drunkenness”?

We’re about to learn all of that and more. bridgerton i will be back. In the new season, Benedict’s romance with series newcomer Sophie Baek (Yerin Ha) forces him to question his ideas about love, commitment, and society. “Benedict is very free and he really wants to protect his freedom. He can be a certain person at home, he can be a certain person in the demimonde, he can be a certain person in society,” Thompson says. “His weakness is where love comes from, because you can’t really love someone unless you’re fully there…It’s amazing that we were able to dig into him for all eight episodes and create a whole symphony about him.”

Benedict is Season 4’s romantic hero, but the premiere sneak preview reveals we’ll also get to know the people who keep Bridgerton House and the many grand mansions across the Tong. The expansive one-shot opener introduces us to the work going on downstairs and the hard-working characters who do it.

This is a fitting start to the season, with Benedict falling in love with a seductive woman in silver at his mother’s masquerade ball, a fan-favorite moment of the book. offer from a gentlemanseason 4 is based on this. As he searches for her true identity, a chance encounter leads him to become friends with Sophie, a hard-working maid. At the start of season 4, Sophie is working for the novices at the aristocratic Penwood House.bridgerton The characters are Araminta Gan (Katie Leung), Rosamund Li (Michelle Mao), and Posie Li (Isabella Wei).

“What’s so beautiful? [Sophie and Benedict’s] “The relationship is about them seeing each other for who they are and starting to question the standards that society imposes on people. If you love that person at their core, that’s all that matters, right?”

Benedict must answer that question while wrestling with the reality of his feelings for the maid in front of him and his feelings for the mythical Silver Lady – unaware that they are actually the same woman.
