The vehicle will be smaller and lighter than this year, with the wheelbase reduced by 200mm to 3,400mm, overall width reduced by 100mm to 1,900mm, and the minimum weight reduced by 30kg.
Overall downforce is expected to be reduced by around 15-30%, but it is inevitable that teams will regain this downforce as they develop the car.
Air resistance has been reduced by 40%. These cars feature active aerodynamics, with the front and rear wings opening on the straights to reduce drag and increase straight-line speed, then click back into place for maximum cornering performance.
The tires retain the 18-inch wheel rims, but the tires themselves are 25mm narrower at the front and 30mm narrower at the rear.
