Australia beat India in 1st ODI in Brisbane

Alyssa Healy started her final series before retiring with a half-century to help Australia claim a six-wicket win over India in the opening international match.

She scored 50 off 70 balls in her first bat as Australia chased a target of 215 with 11.4 overs remaining in the day-night match at Brisbane’s Allan Border Field.

Beth Mooney scored a fluent 76 off 79 balls before all-rounder Annabel Sutherland hit an unbeaten 48 and a six from Deepti Sharma sealed the win.

Hobart will host the final two games of the series on Friday and Sunday.
