Chelsea Handler has opened up about one thing she doesn’t want to give up for love.
Recently appeared in “Not skinny but not fat” podcast, the 50-year-old comedian revealed he “loves it.”[s] All drugs” and have no interest in dating someone who doesn’t like to party.
“I love all drugs. I love drugs. I love LSD. I love MDMA,” she said. “I mean, I don’t like cocaine and heroin, but those drugs are disgusting. I mean, I’ve certainly done them, but I don’t do them regularly, but I don’t… I love drugs. I think they’re great mind-expanding drugs, and they’re not for everyone, but they’re helpful for me.”
She explained that now is “the best time for medicine” because all medicines are available in minute amounts. If the dose is small, “it won’t be that confusing anyway, so there’s nothing to fear.”

Handler went on to explain that she and her friends often gather at parties and measure various drugs. When asked if they could be friends or date sober people, Handler says she tries not to.
“No. It’s like if I date a guy, they have to party,” she said. “I want to party. I like to relax. By the way, I’m 50 years old. Years and years. A perfect shining example of how drugs have enriched my life. Yeah, what can I say? I’m a mess. I’m a loser. Don’t I have it? I have it.”
Most recently, she dated fellow comedian Jo Koy for about a year from 2021 to 2022. In an October 2021 appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, she gushed about Coy, saying, “If you fall in love at 46, there’s hope for everyone in this world.”
After nearly a year of dating, Handler announced on Instagram that the two had gone their separate ways, writing, “We have decided to put our relationship on hiatus right now,” adding that Koy “blows my mind with love” and crediting Koy with changing her life experience “forever.”

“I know many of you were ecstatic about our love and I wanted to let you know how much it means to both of us,” she wrote. “How much it still means to me. And how much I believe in love for each of us now.”

Prior to their romantic relationship, Coy and Handler were longtime friends, with Coy frequently appearing on her former talk show, Chelsea Lately.
After their breakup, Handler appeared on Brooke Shields’ podcast, Now What?, and spoke about why she chose to end her relationship with Coy. In December 2022.
“I truly believed this was my player. I thought, ‘Oh my God, I won.'” As if he had it all. I have a career, I have respect, I have a family, I have a lot of friends, I have all these things. And I thought, this is the person I’m going to spend my life with. ”

She explained that she had never been the “hard to marry” type, but that she had talked to Coy about this many times because she knew it was important to him. But over time, she added, “it became clear that this wasn’t who I was.”
