What is Connections: Sports Edition?
Connections: Sports Edition The Athletic‘s first game, a daily puzzle designed for players to find connection Between 16 words on the game board.
The object of the game is to group words and objects into four groups of four as quickly as possible based on commonalities within each group. Find the group 4 times without making a mistake. Each puzzle has only one solution, so keep an eye out for words or items that seem to belong to more than one category.
Examples of categories:
Sports ____: fan, car, bar, radio
US Summer Olympians: Biles, Phelps, Ledecky, Lyles
Each category group is assigned a color that is revealed as you solve it. They are easy (yellow), medium (green), difficult (blue), and difficult (purple).
