While we are talking about Bukayo Saka, the England winger has signed a new five-year contract with Arsenal until 2031.

A source told BBC Sport that the deal would make Saka the club’s highest-paid player on more than £300,000 a week.

Negotiations over a new contract have been ongoing for nearly a year, with Saka verbally agreeing to commit his future to the club in January.

Saka had a previous contract in 2023 that expires in 2027, but the renewal means the 24-year-old has spent his best years with the Gunners.

The news is a huge boost for the Gunners, who are fighting on four fronts to win silver for the first time since 2020.
