rival of BYD seal and tesla model 3the pure electric 007 starts at $54,900 for the 200kW long-range rear-wheel drive model, but for an extra $5,000 you can step up to the $59,990 Performance AWD, which doubles power to 400kW and delivers 3.9 seconds 0-100km/h performance.
007 is the largest model in the Dongfeng lineup. Both versions are equipped with a 70kWh battery and offer a range of 520km in RWD and 389km in AWD (both WLTP).
Armstrong said the fastback design “combines the efficiency of a sedan with the practicality of a hatch without the aerodynamic disadvantages of an SUV.” It also claims to be the most aerodynamically efficient EV sedan available in New Zealand, with a drag coefficient of 0.209.

The 15.6-inch digital interface inside is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 computing chip.
Both models feature a 1.84 square meter double-court panoramic glass roof, frameless doors, 19-inch alloy wheels, a height-adjustable electric tailgate, ‘soft-touch’ leather upholstery, ventilated power front seats, Apple CarPlay and wireless mobile phone charging. Android Auto is listed as an option.
The 19-speaker Wanos “theatre-grade” panoramic sound system includes integrated headrest speakers and ambient lighting synchronization.
Different interior trims are available for each model. Grey/black for long range and ivory/gray for performance.

The 007 comes standard in Morning White, but $499 color paint options include Night Shadow Black, Sun Gold, Stone Gray, and, exclusive to the Performance version, Orchid Purple.
Safety and intelligent technology includes six airbags, rear parking sensors, and a 540-degree surround-view camera. Although the 007 has not been tested by NCAP/ANCAP, it has a five-star Vehicle Safety Risk Rating (VSRR) in New Zealand.
The 007 comes with a 6-year/200,000km vehicle warranty, an 8-year/200,000km battery warranty, and 6-year roadside assistance.
