March 3 (Reuters) – Metaplatforms’ Facebook went down for thousands of users in the United States on Tuesday, according to Downdetector.com.
As of 5:37 p.m. ET, there had been more than 10,600 reports of issues with the social media platform, according to Downdetector, which tracks outages by collating situation reports from numerous sources.
Downdetector numbers are based on user-submitted reports. The actual number of users affected may vary.
Meta did not respond to a Reuters request for comment on the cause of the outage.
