What you need to know on Tuesday

Nearing the halfway point of the season, there are seven games on the NBA schedule on Tuesday. The matchup I’m most looking forward to is the San Antonio Spurs taking on the Oklahoma City Thunder at Paycom Center. The Spurs have already defeated the Thunder three times this season, turning their regular season matchup into a statement game.

Oklahoma City will be looking for revenge, while San Antonio will have another chance to prove they’re not only ahead of schedule, but a legitimate contender. Add in the dynamic matchup between Victor Wenbanyama and Chet Holmgren and the stakes for first place in the Western Conference, and this game has plenty of playoff energy.

Let’s break down all the action and find some fantasy streamers and betting angles to make the most of tonight’s schedule.

tuesday fantasy stream team

Royce O’Neal, SF, Phoenix Suns (subscribed in 18.6% of ESPN leagues)

O’Neal is firmly on the streaming radar for the Heat game, as he is the type of player who contributes in almost every statistical category. Miami is allowing the eighth-most fantasy points per game to small forwards, making this matchup a favorable one. He has scored at least 30 fantasy points in four consecutive games, including one with 43 points. Taking all of this into account, his DFS value is a strong $5,200.

Zeke Nagy, PF, Denver Nuggets (4.7% rostered rate)

Nnaji has scored at least 22 fantasy points in five of his past six games, including two with 44-point or higher performances. With Nikola Jokic out with an injury, Nagy should continue to play a key role in the Nuggets’ rotation and could be a strong option in the $4,300 DFS lineup.

Jalen Pickett, SG/PG, Nuggets (1.2% registration rate)

Jamal Murray is doubtful for Tuesday’s game against the Pelicans due to a left ankle sprain and illness. He has missed three of the past four games. Pickett scored at least 26 fantasy points in his next three games. his The past four games include one game in which he scored 49 points. The Pelicans are ranked 27th in defensive rating this season. At $5,000, Pickett represents interesting DFS value.

Moody’s Tuesday bet

Zion Williamson OVER 23.5 points (-104)

Williamson has played at least 31 minutes in three of the last four games and has cleared that line in just one of the last five games, but since returning to the Pelicans’ starting lineup on Dec. 29, he has scored at least 20 points in three straight games and six of the last eight games. Denver lacks interior size with Jokic out, which bodes well for Williamson, especially considering the Nuggets are allowing the seventh-most points per game to power forwards over the past 15 games.

Donte DiVincenzo 26.5 points, rebounds, assists or more (-122)

The Timberwolves will be without Anthony Edwards, who is sidelined due to maintenance on a right foot injury, which is good news for DiVincenzo. He has cleared that line in four of the last five games without Edwards, averaging 16.0 field goal attempts, 10.4 rebound chances and 8.4 potential assists in those games. The Bucks have struggled defensively against point guards lately. While Milwaukee protects the paint well, they have trouble defending the perimeter, an area directly related to DiVincenzo’s strengths.

Julien Champagnie 9+ Rebounds (+178)

Champagnie stepped up with the Spurs without Devin Vassell and emerged as a reliable rebounder, clearing the line in four of the last five games without Vassell, averaging 34.0 minutes and 14.6 rebounds in those games. The Thunder have struggled lately without Isaiah Hartenstein, allowing the 10th-most rebounds per game to small forwards over the past 15 games.

Stephon Castle 22.5 points and assists or more (-105)

Castle has been in great form this season, scoring above this line in 71% of his 31 games. The Thunder are usually tough defensive opponents, but they have struggled recently and will be without Hartenstein. Oklahoma City’s defense is built around aggressive ball pressure, and Castle is a guard who can handle that. He has also cleared that line in the last four games with the Thunder.

Daily Fantasy top value for the day

Salary of $8,100 or more

Giannis Antetokounmpo, PF, Milwaukee Bucks ($10,800)

The two-time MVP has recorded double-doubles in five of his last six games. He has scored at least 52 fantasy points in five of those six contests, including one with 64.5 points. Antetokounmpo has a 37.6% usage rate this season and should be useful against the Timberwolves without Rudy Gobert. In his last game against Minnesota on April 8, 2025, Antetokounmpo had 23 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists in 37 minutes.

Alperen Sengun, C, Houston Rockets ($9,100)

Sengun missed the Rockets’ past three games with an ankle injury but returned without restriction. He scored 42.2 fantasy points in 35 minutes against the Kings on Sunday. Sengun is averaging 47.1 fantasy points per game this season, drawing a favorable matchup against a Bulls team that is giving up the third-most fantasy points per game to centers.

Amen Thompson, PG, Rockets ($8,300)

Thompson is in the midst of a great run. He is averaging 45.0 fantasy points and 37.4 minutes in his past seven games. He contributed in nearly every statistical category, painting a favorable matchup against a Bulls team that ranks third in pace and 24th in fielding percentage.

Salary between $6,100 and $8,000

Trey Murphy III, SG/SF, New Orleans Pelicans ($7,700)

Murphy has missed two of the Pelicans’ past six games due to a back injury, but is averaging 51.9 fantasy points per game in his last four games. The Nuggets remain without Jokic, ranking 26th in defensive rating over the past 10 games, making it a prime spot for Murphy to shine.

Derrick Queen, PF/C, Pelicans ($6,600)

Queen also found himself in a prime position against a Nuggets team that struggled defensively without Jokic. Over his last eight games, he is averaging 37.1 fantasy points per game in 28.0 minutes. The matchup between the Pelicans and Nuggets is competitive due to the tight spread, suggesting they are one of the teams with the highest totals.

Naz Reid, PF/C, Minnesota Timberwolves ($6,100)

With Gobert serving a one-game suspension, Reid could be in the Timberwolves’ starting lineup against the Rockets on Tuesday night. Over the last eight games, he is averaging 33.6 fantasy points per game. In 10 games without Gobert last season, Reed averaged 18.1 PPG, 9.7 RPG, and 3.4 APG.

Salary between $3,500 and $6,000

Ayo Dosunmu, SG/SF, Chicago Bulls ($5,300)

Dosunmu has been productive off the bench for the Bulls, averaging 30.5 fantasy points in 26.5 minutes over the past eight games. Houston will be a tough matchup defensively, but Dosunmu remains a strong value play if you want to save money on your DFS lineup.
