Since winning the Super Bowl in the 1990s, the Dallas Cowboys have been virtually the definition of mediocrity.

This team has yet to appear in the NFC Championship Game since winning the 1996 Super Bowl 30 years ago, but Michael Irvin, the team’s top receiver, sees the vision.

Irvin told San Francisco radio station FOX News Digital that he recently had dinner with soon-to-be second-year head coach Brian Schottenheimer.[s] The direction the coach is aiming for. ”

“I like the way he runs the offense, because we found the offense,” Irvin said of a star-studded team that includes Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens and Javonte Williams.

Defense has been a glaring weakness all season, but Irvin doesn’t want anyone else on defense.

“Now with Quinnen Williams and Kenny Clark up the middle, hey, we’ve got a force that’s going to be in the middle of the field. We’ve got to solidify that defense,” Irvin said.

Then a bold prediction was made.

“The Cowboys could be in this game next year. We could be sitting here talking about the Cowboys in this game next year. And find me and make sure you say, ‘You said this. You said, Michael, you said they could be here.’

“They’ll be here. I want them to find me.”

Cowboys fans brave enough to ride with Irvin can do so at Hard Rock Bets, which has a long-standing relationship with the Hall of Famer.

“This is home, Florida. I’m from Florida. Looking back, I’ve had great friendships and affiliations with them for a long time. My Hall of Fame party was at the Hard Rock, and of course Miami plays at the Hard Rock, so I’m always with them. There’s a natural partnership,” Irvin said.
