Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has returned to full training with Galatasaray following the African Cup of Nations. He will be selected for the match against Atletico Madrid.
Head coach Okan Buruk confirmed the positive news in the pre-match press conference. “Osimhen joined the team yesterday and trained with us. He clearly showed motivation and focus.”
Osimhen has been sensational for Galatasaray this season, scoring six goals in four Champions League games before departing for international duty, and will be hoping to continue his impressive form.

Left-back Ismail Jacobs is expected to arrive in Istanbul early on match day and will be available for the squad, although he may not start. Midfielder Gabriel Sala will train with the team on the day of the match and undergo a fitness test in the second half, but Bourque say they plan to include him in the squad once he completes training without any complications.
However, Wilfried Singo will miss the match due to injury, and Arda Unai will also be absent with a hamstring strain. Metehan Bartak remains suspended. Davinson Sanchez and left-back Ismail Jacobs are both one yellow card away from suspension.
