For McKellen, 86, this is too much. “I don’t really know,” the actor said in a new interview. “I’m not really interested in figuring out where Shakespeare’s imagination came from, but I’m sure it didn’t just come from his home life.”
He predicted the film would win multiple Oscars at the Academy Awards ceremony in March, but called plot details “unlikely.”

“But Shakespeare is probably the most famous person who ever lived, so of course there’s some interest in what he looked like and what his relationship with his family was like.
“We don’t know, but the idea that Anne Hathaway has never seen a play before? It’s impossible, considering that’s what her husband did for a living. And she doesn’t seem to know what a play is! I think there’s some questionable odds.”
In the film, Shakespeare’s wife (Jessie Buckley) remains at home in Stratford-upon-Avon to look after their children while Shakespeare travels to London to become a successful playwright. In the movie, Hathaway is portrayed as being ignorant about her profession.

Although the film is nominated for Best Picture, it faces stiff competition from director Paul Thomas Anderson’s film. Battles continue one after another and ryan coogler’s sinner.
However, lead actress Buckley is the frontrunner for Best Actress. hamnet ‘ was nominated for a total of eight awards, including Best Director for Chao and Best Adapted Screenplay for Chao and O’Farrell.
The film, which also starred Paul Mescal and Jacobi Jupe, was a box office hit, grossing $74 million (£54.3 million) against a budget of $35 million (£25.6 million). The film is expected to further increase its winnings as awards season intensifies. The Oscar ceremony will be held on March 15th.
