Prior to the announcement of the fourth album, Kiss me forever. Disco, sometimes Harry Styles left a cryptic message for the world. In particular, it said, “Let the light in.” As it turns out, this note was a homage to the album’s first single, “Aperture.” The song will be released worldwide on Thursday at 7pm EST ahead of the LP’s March 6th release.
Of course, the aperture controls the amount of light that passes through the camera. Last week’s album announcement also saw new merchandise announced, including a limited edition box set containing a reloadable 35mm film camera. Styles also shared an Instagram Story post featuring an animation of the single title opening and closing, letting in and blocking out light. An accompanying grid post captures Styles grinning in the studio.
