SAN FRANCISCO — Nickell-Alexander Walker scored 24 points and Jaylen Johnson had 23 points, 11 rebounds and six assists as the Atlanta Hawks defeated the Golden State Warriors 124-111 on Sunday night.

Luke Kennard contributed a season-best 22 points and six 3-pointers off the bench, helping the Hawks win their third straight game.

Stephen Curry scored 31 points, his 13th 30-point game this season, and Jimmy Butler had 30 points, seven rebounds, and six assists for his fourth 30-point game, and the Warriors ended their home winning streak at three points. There was one other game in which both players scored 30 or more points, and the Warriors lost to Orlando on Nov. 18.

Butler had 17 points, five assists and four rebounds by halftime, but the Warriors made just 5 of 19 3-pointers. It was the third time in the past four games he has scored 20 or more points.

Dyson Daniels’ layup at 8:47 of the third gave Atlanta a 70-58 lead, and Golden State went on a 10-0 run, but could not maintain momentum.

Warriors forward Draymond Green had made 3-pointers in two straight games, but never in three straight.

Golden State made five of its first six shots and went on to win 14-4. Seven of those were by Curry.

Curry and his father, Dell, surpassed Joe and Kobe Bryant’s 38,895 points to become the second-most scoring duo in NBA history by a father-son duo. LeBron James and Bronny are in first place with 42,692.
