founder Andreas Versl And in 2007, Tzuyu fans, Horage The company approached watchmaking from an unconventional angle. Rather than start by designing and sourcing a movement, the company started by developing its own caliber. Today, Horage has a portfolio built around a family of modular movements. automatic K1, Micro rotor K2, K-TOU with tourbillon regulator and K-TMR Micro Rotor Tourbillonand recent COSC certified K3 automatic (debuting with the new DecaFlux 3-hand sports watch) are all designed to offer high-end specifications at a relatively modest price.
K2 micro rotor caliber, Introduced at Supersede GMT (2021) was later expanded and enriched with several references, including: Lensman 2 exposureOmnium, and the updated Autark. K2 is central to Horage’s identity. COSC certified; silicone partswhich can be configured with multiple complications, underpins some of the most technically competitive sports watches in this segment. The new Molokini GMT Diver is the latest evolution. This is an original diver watch that inherits the K2 movement and is more compact.
Molokini (named after Molokini Crater, a popular snorkeling and diving spot off the coast of Maui, Hawaii) is housed in a 38 mm case made of 904L stainless steel, a material chosen for its corrosion resistance and high polishing ability. With a thickness of 9.65 mm and a lug distance of 44.6 mm, the proportions are particularly compact for an automatic GMT diver’s watch, made possible by the movement’s micro-rotor structure. The case features a unidirectional timing bezel, a domed sapphire crystal with a multi-layer AR coating, and a sapphire exhibition case back. With a water resistance of 200m, the Molokini is not just a sports model, but a functional diver’s watch.
At launch, Horage offers three dial colors: Sand, Coral, and Ocean, each with a different surface treatment. Instead of markers, the Molokini uses printed Arabic numerals coated with Super-LumiNova, which are highly legible and contribute to a slightly unconventional aesthetic. Despite the complications, the dial is under control. The central hours, minutes, and seconds are True Traveler GMTallowing the local hour hand to jump independently. A large vertical date is placed at 6 o’clock, while the day/night indicator at 9 o’clock and the power reserve display at 10 o’clock are executed as compact discs rather than traditional subdials.
As mentioned above, powering the Molokini is Horage’s in-house caliber K2, a 3.6 mm tall automatic micro-rotor movement. The K2 operates at 28,800 vph, offers a 72-hour power reserve, and incorporates a silicon balance spring and escapement for improved magnetic resistance and long-term stability. Adjustment is achieved by a screw balance system and each movement is COSC certified. The tungsten micro-rotor is gold-plated and the movement has an anthracite finish.
The Molokini is mounted on a 3-link 904L stainless steel bracelet with an HMAC (Horage MicroAdjustable Clasp) folding clasp, allowing for 10mm of micro-adjustment in 1mm increments without tools. Supplied with an additional ‘OTAN’ fabric strap, available in white/black, white/sand or white/coral. Pricing is 6,490 Swiss Francsthe pre-order price is 5,990 Swiss Francs Available from February 10th to February 28th, 2026. Deliveries are expected to begin in early May 2026.
