Huawei is reportedly preparing to launch the third generation of its specialized health. smart watchwith a prominent Weibo leaker pointing to the Huawei Watch D3 launching as early as the second quarter.

While hardware details are still unclear, the headline feature is expected to be non-invasive blood glucose monitoring, a development that would solidify Huawei’s position among those at the forefront of the medical-grade wearable device race.

While the brand has expanded its TruSense brand across its portfolio, the D-series remains the cornerstone of its medical-grade ambitions. And based on this latest clue, the 2026 version seems destined to address the holy grail of wearable devices: non-invasive blood glucose monitoring.

However, even with that potential nugget, the nature of the follow-up is unknown. It may even be just the same. trend analysis, rather than direct measurement, which the brand debuted last month via the Watch GT 6 Pro.

However, we may find out soon. The information aligns with a broader rumor from the leaker that Huawei is planning a major hardware event in April, where the Watch D3 would likely be placed next to a Updated Watch Fit 5 series and a rumored Ultra variant.

Build on solid foundations
