Christie and Desmond Scott will go their separate ways.

According to court records obtained by PEOPLE, Christy, 30, filed for divorce from Desmond on December 30th after more than 10 years of marriage.

TMZCiting court records, Christie cited allegations of infidelity as the reason for their breakup.

The influencer couple married in 2014 after four years of dating. They have two children, sons Vance and Westin.

Representatives for Christie and Desmond did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s requests for comment.

Desmond began by saying, “First, I would like to apologize to Christie, our family, and everyone affected by the public attention surrounding this situation.” “I know this news has disappointed many people and I am truly sorry for the hurt it has caused.”

“Kristy is the mother of my children and that will always come first. I remain as committed as ever to being an active, present and loving parent to my children,” he continued.

Desmond later wrote that he and Christie “faced challenges and made a sincere effort to overcome them,” but explained that in the end, after telling Christie that they “wanted to separate” at the end of 2025, they “made a choice that I am not proud of.”

“I took responsibility for those actions, shared this directly and privately with her, and ultimately we decided to divorce,” Desmond concluded. “We ask for privacy and compassion as we navigate this difficult chapter in our lives. We would like to thank everyone who has supported us over the years. We appreciate that support.”

Both Christy and Desmond have huge followings online on social media, where they share videos of their daily lives.

Christie has 16.9 million followers on TikTok and 9.5 million followers on Instagram, while Desmond’s TikTok account has 1.5 million followers and his Instagram account has 1.8 million followers.

Back in 2024, Christie and Desmond celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary with a glamorous floral-themed party.

The couple told PEOPLE at the time that they had been “best friends” since they were teenagers.

They added that they “focus on having fun, always laughing, keeping things light and spontaneous, and finding humor in everyday life.”
