Lachie and Jules Neal’s Seven Hills home sells for $3.2 million at auction in Brisbane

The mansion of Jules Neal and her estranged husband, two-time Lions premiership star Raki Neal, has been sold at auction in Brisbane for $3.2 million.

The five-bedroom, three-bathroom home, fully equipped, was put on the market last month after the pair’s marriage collapsed amid reports of infidelity.

Neal confirmed their split in December, amid speculation about their marriage. “I want to be clear that I am not ‘working on’ anything,” she said in a statement. “I was betrayed in an unimaginable way. All I can do now is heal my heart and do what’s best for my children.”

In early January, the two-time Brownlow medalist also confirmed their separation and stepped down as co-captain.

It has been reported that Neil is having an affair with Jules Neil’s best friend Tess Crossley. But earlier this month, Crossley’s family sheltered her during the ongoing storm.

Her mother, Kaz Caesar, said her daughter was not the only “villain.”

“There are four people involved and none of them are innocent. But one is allowed to be the villain and has been told to keep quiet from the beginning,” she posted.

The Neils bought their spacious two-storey home in the affluent Brisbane suburb of Seven Hills during the pandemic for $2.43 million.

It features high ceilings and timber floors, as well as louvered windows and skylights with automatic shutters.

A gourmet kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances, butler’s pantry and wine cellar opens to an outdoor area with pool and sauna.

Approximately 700 square meters in size, there is also a three-car garage space with epoxy flooring.

The auction, sold by McGrath Realtors, was held in the living room, away from prying cameras.

Bidding started at $2.5 million and ended with a family of five bidding for $3.2 million.

This comes after Jules Neil took to social media to showcase her 36th birthday celebrations in Perth. A series of snaps, set to the soundtrack of Olivia Dean’s Ladies Room, showed a beaming Neil surrounded by cake, balloons and friends.

She recently returned to her home state of WA with her children, Piper and Freddie, to live with Neil, who was recruited by Fremantle from South Australia in 2011.

The couple moved to Brisbane after Neil was traded to the Lions at the end of 2018.

Brisbane suggested the club would not stand in the way if Neil wanted to move to Western Australia to be near his two children in the future.

However, he has committed to playing the 2026 season in Brisbane.
